BLEACH LONDON PRODUCT REVIEW

If you've been following my blog since the beginning you'll know that I went blonde last summer. I used to have very dark brown hair, so going blonde was a long complicated process. After spending a ridiculous amount of money at my hairdresser, I decided to do my roots at home. I've always heard great things about Bleach Londons products, so I was very excited to give them a go. I used the Bleach London Total Bleach for my roots, followed by the Bleach London White Toner and lastly the Bleach London Silver Shampoo. I'm going to do a review on each product.
Total Bleach
I only used this product to do my roots, so I'm not sure how it would work for a full bleach. Anyway, my roots are a standard brown colour and were at least 8cm long (I would definitely recommend to not let your roots grow that long before the bleach). Inside the kit you get a tint brush, mixing tub, gloves, developing lotion, x2 sachets of bleaching powder an an instructional booklet. I was quite surprised to see 2 sachets of bleaching powder, since I'm used to only using one. I'm assuming this is why it took a while to mix it properly. I would recommend using a bowl instead of the small mixing tub if you're a bit messy like me. The brush had the perfect size and was great for doing root regrowth with.
The bleach devolped very quickly on me, I could see the difference within minutes. I left the mixture on for 35-40 minutes and then washed it out. I didn't notice any itching or burning in the begning, but after about 10 minutes it did start itching, but nothing too terrible. I didn't notice any burning at all, which I have experienced with some bleaches in the past.
Even though my roots were long the bleach had managed to work on all of it. I'm really impressed with the result it left and my hair didn't get fried at all. Obviously it left a pale yellow band, which is why I would definitely recommend to buy the White Toner kit as well.
White Toner
In the White Toner kit you get the developing lotion in a applicator bottle, colourant, gloves and an instruction booklet. I just mixed it in the applicator bottle and applied it from there, but you could use a bowl and apply it with a pencil if that's what you prefer. The applicator bottle worked fine for me though. The texture was a bit thinner than the bleach and was very easy to apply. I decided to leave it on for a bit longer than the instruction suggest, which was simply because I wanted the result to be as grey as possible. (Also I have used this toner before and was familiar with it) In total I left it on for about 25 minutes. I was impressed with the toner! Although there is still some more yellowy patches in my hair, I think this has more to do with the fact that my original bleach was not the best and the only way to repair this would be to bleach my lengths again. The toner is advertised as semi-permanent and will wash out but I was a bit disappointed to find that a lot of the grey tones had gone after the next time I washed my hair. A silver shampoo definitely helps keeping the right colour, but I think I would repurchase the White Toner and apply it twice a monthly or so.
Silver Shampoo
I've previously been using the Schwartzkopf BC Colour Freeze Silver Shampoo, which worked fine but didn't impress me immensely. So that's why I had high hopes for Bleach Londons silver shampoo. And it's for sure better than my old one. For the first application I decided to pencil it into my hair using the same pencil as I did with the bleach (obviously a new clean one). If you've just bleached your hair then I recommend to do this, just to make sure that you get the shampoo everywhere. I was a bit nervous it would turn my hair purple or blue, but it turned into a really cool white/grey colour. Since then I've used the shampoo about 4 or 5 times in the shower. I've been leaving it on for less than 5 minutes each time and it leaves a great result every time. It doesn't make my hair as frizzy as the Schwartzkopf Silver Shampoo did. I still want to try some more different silver shampoos to find the perfect one, but I'm excited to keep using this one for a time.

Overall I am definitely impressed with all of the products and will definitely purchase them again! I bought one of Bleach Londons Super Cool Colours as well and I'm so excited to try it out! Let me know if you would like to see a review on that product as well. I hope this review was helpful and alright, I was a bit nervous posting it since it's my first one. But thanks for reading, let me know if you try any of these products.

VALENTINE

Leather Jacket - Topshop
Top - Topshop

Hi everybody! I had a little Valentines date with my girls the other night and I thought I'd show you guys my outfit and what we got up to. I love this outfit for going out. It's quite simple, but I decided to spice it up by adding my statement Jeffrey Campbell Litas. I bought these shoes a couple years ago, back when everyone was sporting them. To be honest I haven't gotten much use out of them, but I am trying to incorporate them into my current style more.
We ordered sushi for dinner, which was so delicious! Yum!
And of course we had to go the movies and watch Fifty Shades of Grey for valentines. I'm still a bit confused about my opinion of the movie, but I think it was quite good. Jamie was gorgeous and I ended up loving Dakota Johnson. Have you seen the film yet? If so let me know what you thought of it! :)
I'm really excited about my next post, which will be a product review! So tune in soon for that :)
I hope you're all having a lovely day. I will see you soon!
By the way, follow me on any social media if you want to. I'd love to chat to you guys!

BABY, THE WAY YOU DO

Coat - Second-hand
Calvin Klein Jumper - Dr. Adams
Jeans - Dr. Denim
Boots - Pavement
Scarf - Monki

AY it's my first blogpost of 2015! Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all had a great start at the new year.
This is one of my absolute favourite outfits at the moment. I was lucky enough to get a Calvin Klein jumper for Christmas and I've pretty much lived in it since. I found this amazing coat at a local charity shop and it was a total bargain since it only cost 7£! Mental! It's so easy to style and I just love the look of it.

Lately I've been using an app called StyleKick a ton. It's perfect for getting style inspiration! If I'm having a hard time picking out an outfit for the day, scrolling through the app for a minute helps so much. The best part is that you can actually shop the look directly from the app! I would definitely recommend for you guys to check it out!

SO KISS ME ON THIS COLD DECEMBER NIGHT

 Dress - Brandy Melville
Sweater - Vintage
Beanie - H&M

Hi everybody! I just wanted to do a quick little post this week so I snapped a few pictures while I was out for a Christmas dinner. My outfit is quite random to be honest, I literally just threw on some random bits and it turned out alright. I also decided to follow one of my life mottos: if ever in doubt throw on a bobble hat!
I can't believe it's already Christmas! This year has gone by so fast, especially these last few months. I know I haven't been the best blogger, but hopefully I'll have time to focus on this blog next semester.

Merry Christmas!

I'm absolutely obsessed with my winter coat! I had been looking for the perfect black coat for a very long time, I finally found this one and I've been wearing it constantly since. It's a definite staple piece for me this season.

WINTER SHADES

Darker shades:
Essie - Bahama Mama
OPI - Every Month Is Oktoberfest
OPI - Skyfall

Lighter shades:
Essie - No Place Like Chrome
OPI - Bubble Bath
Topshop - Flying Saucer

This is a quite random post, but I've been obsessed with nail varnish lately! I tend to go a bit nail varnish mental during the winter for some reason. I feel like so many colours is suitable for winter, which is mainly why I decided to do this post.
I love to wear both darker and lighter shades during winter time, so i picked out my ultimate favourites for you guys.
OPIs Skyfall is probably my go to colour, it simply goes with everything. But I do try to switch it up during the winter months with some pastel colours. My favourite is OPIs Bubble Bath and as you can see it's almost empty (which might also have something to do with me spilling a ton shh). The colour is amazing though; it's the perfect baby pink. I purchased the Essie No Place Like Chrome last Christmas and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's perfect for the Christmas season!
