EVERYDAY MAKE-UP ROUTINE: AUTUMN

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - 004 Sandstorm
Make-up Bag - Primark

I have been loving my go to make-up look recently so I thought I'd do a blogpost on some of my all time favorite make-up products. This look is perfect for a simple everyday look, especially during autumn.
I have been using the same face products for a very long time now, but they just work so well for me that I don't see a point in changing them. Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation is the best drugstore foundation I have ever tried, I doubt I will ever stop repurchasing it.
Concealer wise Mac's Studio Finish has saved my life. It covers up all blemishes and is my go to product for whenever I have a spot I want to cover up. Though it is quite thick so I would never use it under my eyes, this is where the Wake Me Up concealer comes in.
I get quite oily skin, therefore a powder is crucial for me. The Rimmel powder is very cheap, but it gets the job done well.
Maybelline Baby Lips - Pink Punch

Now for the eyes; this part might seem very strange to some of you. I love my Benefit Hoola Bronzer and not just for conturing. Lately I've been using this for my eyes as well.
It can be so hard to find a good neutral warm brown eye shadow, so why not use a bronzer. I simply sweep this over my entire eyelid and work it into the crease. It creates this beautiful warm colour. To brighten up my eyes I use Bootycall from the Naked 2 Palette in the inner corners of my eyes. Some days I'll just leave it like this and go straight to mascara, but for a slightly more dramatic look I take Busted from the Naked 2 Palette and put it on the outer corners as well as work it into the cease. I always take the same colour under my eyes as well, along my waterline. For mascara I absolutely love Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Mascara. It makes the lashes look amazing, but still natural. If you want to spend a bit more money on a new mascara I would definitely recommend Elizabeth Arden's mascaras in general. To finish up the look I use Benefit Hoola Bronzer for conturing and usually apply one of Maybelline's Baby Lips to my lips.

I DON'T CARE IF MONDAY'S BLUE

 T-Shirt - ASOS
Skinny Jeans - Dr Denim
Bag - Topshop
Shoes - Converse
Watch - Urban Outfitters (similar)

The new semester started and if I'm being honest, I'm already quite tired of going to school. Especially on mondays; so this lovely t-shirt seemed fitting. I found this t-shirt in the mens section on ASOS and I love it. If you like cool printed shirts I would definitely recommend to always look through the mens section! They just have much cooler prints and I personally love wearing oversize shirts. I did have a bit of a problem with this one though, because for some reason it was very very long. (like longer than my summer dresses) I decided to cut a bit of the length, since I wore it tucked in no one would notice.
Most days it already feels like autumn where I live so I decided to grab my old military jacket and throw it over this casual outfit. I think this kind of jacket is brilliant for autumn and it's the perfect way to spice up your outfit slightly.

On a side note: in case you were wondering, I am going blonde. Luckily I haven't done a ton of posts yet, but it could still be a bit confusing. I still need to get another bleach done, but I'm letting my hair rest for a month. I went from a very dark brown to complete blonde in a short period of time, which can be very hard to do, so I might do a blogpost on how I did it when i achieve the right shade of blonde.

READING FESTIVAL 2014

Hii everyone. This blog post is gonna be a bit different than what I had planned to usually blog about. But I went to Reading Festival in England this weekend and I had a sick time so I thought why not blog about it.
I got to see a few of my absolute favorite bands this weekend, which was amazing. One of my highlights was watching Arctic Monkeys on the MainStage Saturday night. It was my first time seeing them live and it was definitely worth the wait. However my favorite gig throughout the whole weekend was probably the 1975. They did an amazing show at the BBC Radio 1 Stage. The atmosphere was so chill and everyone was just jamming to their favourite song. Actually before the show I was fairly close to meeting Matt Healy! :O sadly it didn't happen, but we did get a few good pictures of him. I took this one during their gig:
Being the new horrible blogger I am, I completely forgot to take any pictures of my festival outfits. So sadly this post won't be fashion related at all. But I will be back soon with some proper fashion/beauty posts! I have tons of ideas planned out. Until then here's a festival selfie :)

LITTLE BLACK DRESS

A must have for most girls is a simple black dress, I've been struggeling to find one that fit me and my style perfectly; I think I finally did though. I wore this the other day in a very simple way. I decided not abandon my accessories and focus solely on the dress. What I love most about this dress is that it can work great as a casual everyday-dress, but with a bit of jewelry and some high heels it'd be perfect for a night out as well.

Dress - Brandy Melville
Boots - Dr Martens
